Developing their reputation as an expert in placing “hard to place” children such as teens, multiple sibling groups, and children from juvenile justice system.
    First public event fundraiser raised record amount for all of the national organization’s offices and all previous fundraising efforts. Introduced organization to key legislator with adopted children, new grant opportunities, speaking opportunities for recruiting foster families, and non-profit management support organizations. Developing processes and opportunities for faster growth.

  • Promoted Polk A Dot Bakery, a boutique bakery in upscale Dallas suburban community, to public for increased sales with special orders, events, and corporate accounts. Developing website content and online reviews to promote reputation as “baked from scratch” savory and sweet menu. Advised on logistics, pricing and corporate policies to help build sales and impact reputation.

  • Consulted on state party convention speeches for two congressional candidates and one state attorney general candidate for Utah.  Helped develop stump speeches leading up to convention, as well as floor speeches. Services included coaching on delivery and modifying message for changing landscape.

  • Ghostwrite blog posts, opeds, white papers and other opinion pieces on targeted intellectual property legislation for members of the Global Intellectual Property Center at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

  • Developed curriculum for university course, workbook series, and wrote speeches for corporate trainer of gender differences in communication.

  • Customer analysis and public relations campaign for the owner of a do-it-yourself interior designer firm.

  • Wrote, edited and developed web copy and created new copy style guide for website relaunch of IBOPE Zogby, an international polling firm.

  • Edited research paper and developed marketing tools for media pitch of paper for consortium of three professors leading to their most downloaded research paper to date – here is the Executive Summary of their paper discussing the impact of “Green Jobs.”

  • Wrote speeches, testimony, opeds and talking points for U.S. Trade Representative Susan C. Schwab. Ambassador, including the Annual Washington International Trade Assoc. (WITA) Keynote Speech that was quoted by Reuters. Also served as spokesperson and media liaison for issues relating to trade with the Middle East, Africa and textiles; and wrote executive summaries and news releases for various congressionally and World Trade Organization (WTO) mandated reports.

  • Wrote speeches, press releases, web copy, opeds, research reports and congressional testimony for then-U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, including his Department of Defense Budget Posture Statement to Congress, and his news conference in response to Walter Reed Hosptial scandal. Secretary Gates quoted by NPR.

  • Wrote speeches, opeds, talking points for direct reports, and congressionally mandated statements and testimony for  then-U.S. Secretary of Transportation Norman Y. Mineta, including his emotional  Farewell to U.S. Coast Guard that was quoted by CNN. Served as interim Director of Speechwriting managing staff of speechwriters for U.S. Secretary of Transportation and coordinating remarks with direct reports.
